Named for the veterinarian and farrier who saved his mother's life, this chestnut colt with flaxen mane and tail and two white hind stockings is tall and elegant. The second foal out of a young appendix mare, "J R" has the level topline, long neck, and flat-kneed way of going that everyone is looking for in the modern American Quarter Horse of today. A lovely blaze face with a huge eye catches the attention of everyone who sees him. His dam, Spizzle, has full siblings showing on the Hunter/Jumper circut. Injured as a young horse, she never had an opportunity to show. "J R" was imprinted at birth and has been handled daily.
